It is safe to say that the whole world is rejoicing the return of Shah Rukh Khan on the big screen with his movie Pathaan. The spy-action thriller has become the first Bollywood movie to cross the Rs 500 Crore Nett benchmark in India. Having become the first mega block-buster of 2023, without any prior promotions, the makers have now released behind-the-scenes (BTS) videos from the movie.
In a new video, that focuses on the making of Pathaan's title track ‘Jhoome Jo Pathaan’, director Siddharth Anand reveals that SRK was shy to go shirtless during the song. For the unversed, the superstar’s abs in the film have become one of the most talked about topics on social media. He says, “I think a conspiracy was hatched. There was no way I was showing my body, but then they made me do it again. It’s very embarrassing.” The director adds, “He is shy to a point that he just doesn’t want to open a button of his shirt. And having a body like that, you have to actually tear it and show the world. We had to coax him into it to do that bare body shot.”

Not only are the Bollywood celebrities rejoicing over the movie’s success and SRK’s return to the big-screen, but it has also been proven that the boycott trend of Hindi movies doesn’t have much weightage when it comes to the audience wanting to watch their favourite stars on the big screen. On the work front, after being seen in extended cameos in Ayaan Mukherji's Brahmastra, R Madhavan’s Rocketry: The Nambi Effect and Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chadda, SRK is currently busy enjoying the success of Pathaan. He has movies like Jawan and Dunki in the pipeline.
