Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan is one of the most loved heartthrobs from his generation. He is often seen spreading cheer with her powerful performances during shows. He recently attended the NMACC event alongside many known Bollywood and international personalities and videos of his flawless dancing have gone viral. However a particular video of his stunt with supermodel Gigi Hadid has left the internet cringing hard.
In the video that is currently going viral, the 35-year-old is seen pulling Hadid on the stage, during his dance performance. Not only does he pick her bridal style and spins her around, but he also kisses her on the cheek, after which she gets down from the stage. Well, it seems like Varun’s gestures did not go down well with the netizens as they accused him of kissing Gigi without her consent. Replying to a netizen, who has now deleted their tweet, the Bhediya actor clarified that Gog being on the stage with him was pre-planned. He goes on to request the netizen to find another topic to vent about. He wrote, “I guess today you woke up and decided to be woke. So lemme burst ur bubble and tell u it was planned for her to be on stage so find a new Twitter cause to vent about rather then going out and doing something about things . Varun’s clarification has now left the internet divided. While many came out in his support and called him one of the most respectable actors in the Hindi film industry, others questioned what culture he was representing by making the entire stint with the model super uncomfortable and embarrassing.
