Bollywood actors Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif are one of the most sought after couples. They have been painting the town red with their lovey-dovey posts for each other and sharing cute little details from their personal life. They have become an inspiration for all the couples out there. While netizens have often dubbed them as perfect for each other, Vicky disagrees with the notion.
During a recent interaction with Lifestyle Asia India, Vicky opened up about not being the perfect husband, son or even a friend. Asserting that being perfect is a mirage, the Govinda Naam Mera actor expressed that being the perfect human is an ongoing quest and he always tries to be the best version of himself at any given moment. He said, “I’m not perfect in any way. Not as a husband, a son, a friend or an actor. I think that’s the ongoing quest and the process of reaching that is, I think, where I’ve always wanted to be. Being perfect is like a mirage, you know? You always feel you’re reaching there but you’re never quite there. So, I don’t think I’m a perfect husband. I don’t think I’m perfect in any way, but I try to be the best version of a husband I can be at any given moment. Of course, tomorrow I will be better than I was yesterday but I always try to do the best that I can.”
He went on to add that getting married to Katrina has taught him a lot more than all his years of being single. The 34-year-old actor said, “You learn a lot when you start living with a person and when you have a companion. For the unversed, the couple got married in December last year in a closed off ceremony. While they had maintained privacy about their dating life, it is being reported that they were together for three years, before deciding to tie the knot. The duo is often seen giving couple goals with the cutesy social media posts. Post-wedding, Vicky and Kat have openly discussed their relationship and how being with each other has impacted them.
On the work front, Vicky Kaushal was recently seen in Govinda Naam Mera alongside Kiara Advani and Bhumi Pednekar. He will be seen in Meghna Gulzar’s upcoming movie, Sam Bahadur, alongside Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra.
