Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor were papped at Karan Johar’s house last night and guess what? Even her ex-flame Sidharth Malhotra was there. We wonder if the trio met and got talking
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are in a happy space on the personal and professional front. Not only do they have a film coming up together called Brahmastra, but they are also painting the town red with their public appearances. Last night too, they were spotted outside Karan Johar’s residence.
And guess what? Alia’s ex-flame Sidharth Malhotra was there too. We all know that Karan Johar was instrumental in bringing Sidharth and Alia to films with Student of the Year in 2012. It’s then that the duo started dating, but eventually their relationship didn’t stand the test of time and they had a break-up.
Alia moved on with Ranbir Kapoor whereas Sidharth has been linked up to various actresses like Kiara Advani and KJo’s new student, Tara Sutaria. When last night, the trio came under the same roof, we wondered if they got talking. Also, let us remind you that in the beginning of this year, they had gone to Delhi to meet PM Narendra Modi and our source had revealed that there was no interaction between Sid and Alia at the airport as they crossed paths but didn’t acknowledge each other’s presence.

One could see Alia being safely escorted by beau Ranbir, while Sidharth preferring to stay afar from the lovebirds. Also, shortly after that, we had revealed that Sidharth had held a birthday bash and had even invited Alia-Ranbir, but the duo chose to give it a miss.

Then, it was on Karan Johar’s talk show that Sidharth admitted for the first time that his relationship with Alia is over. He had said, “There is so much history. There is enough reasons why two people decide not to be together." Also, he stated that they didn’t meet post split. However, Alia while talking to DNA stated that she and Sid did meet. “They had shot the episode (Kofffee With Karan) much before we met so he must have said that. But we have obviously met recently and it was extremely normal.” The actress concluded by saying that she has love and respect for her SOTY co-star and ex-lover.
Now that they met again last night, we wonder if KJo managed to get them talking and normalize things.
