When Alia Bhatt Talked About Extramarital Affairs In Connection To Her Parents Mahesh Bhatt And Soni Razdan: ‘I Am Not As Black And White About Life’
Alia Bhatt is one of the most established actresses in Bollywood and there is absolutely no denying that. Apart from her stellar on-screen performances, she is known for making candid revelations about her personal life. Alia has never shied away from expressing her views about anything, be it infidelity. Back in 2019, during the promotions of her film 'Kalank', the Raazi star talked about extramarital affairs in regard to her parents Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan.

For the unversed, filmmaker Mahesh fell in love with Soni while he was still married to Kiran Bhatt. In an interview, Alia addressed the issue and said her father met her mother because he had an extramarital affair. She was quoted saying, “I am not as black and white about life; sometimes in life, things happen for a reason. Of course, you would not want to propagate infidelity and I don’t propagate it, but I understand the nature of human — it’s not always that easy and it is something that’s prevalent.” ALSO READ: Alia Bhatt Made Hubby Ranbir Kapoor Do THIS Thing At 2 Am In The Night And It Will Leave You SHOCKED!

The 30-year-old actress also pointed out that infidelity does exist in our society and that one should deal with it in a mature way. “You can’t say it (infidelity) doesn’t exist or it can’t exist. It does! So try and understand it, look at it in a different way, or disagree with it, but have some perspective over it and don’t turn your head away,” Alia explained.

Meanwhile, Bhatt is gearing up for the release of her upcoming film 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani' which will see her romancing heartthrob Ranveer Singh. The family drama will mark Karan Johar’s return to director after several years and also features veteran actors Shabana Azmi, Dharmendra, and Jaya Bachchan. The movie will hit the theatres in July this year. Alia was last seen in Ayan Mukerji's directorial Brahmastra alongside hubby Ranbir Kapoor. Interestingly, she is also foraying into Hollywood with ‘Heart of Stone’, co-starring Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan.
