Hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar, Koffee With Karan is till date one of the most cherished talk shows in Bollywood. While fans eagerly wait for a new season every year, glimpses and snippets from the old season often go viral. Ameesha Patel, who is all set to return to the big screens with Gadar 2 alongside Sunny Deol, had once opened up about doing a project like Jism. She had gone on to reveal that she would never do such roles as her grandmother wouldn’t like it.

When Karan had addressed the same to actress Bipasha Basu, who starred in the movie with John Abraham in 2003, on the show. A video of the actress reacting to Ameesha’s statement has now gone viral on social media. When the director asks her opinion on the Bhool Bhulaiyaa actress’ comment, Bipasha took a dig at her by saying that she doesn’t have the physical attributes to carry a movie like Jism. Calling the 47-year-old actress’ frame too petite and too small, the actress added one should have a strong personality as well. When the Karan brought up Ameesha's comment on Bipasha's hips, the actress revealed that she would like to thank her. She went on to say, “I would like to thank Ameesha, to say that my hips were big and now they are small. Now they are rocking.” ALSO READ: OMG! Over the past few weeks, Ameesha has been making the headlines for her upcoming film Gadar 2 and surrendering in a Rs 3 crore cheque bounce case in Ranchi, Jharkhand. Talking about the movie, it is a sequel to her and Deol’s 2001 classic. The first movie followed the journey of Tara Singh who falls in love with a Pakistani Muslim girl Sakina. After they get married and have a son, played by Utkarsh Sharma, Sakina is forced to go to her country by her father, leaving her family. The father-son duo then goes to Pakistan to rescue her. The upcoming movie will focus more on the father-son relationship between Sunny and Utkarsh. Set to release on August 11th, 2023. The movie is directed and produced by Anil Sharma.
