When Coldplay’s Chris Martin Addressed Katrina Kaif as ‘Katrina Kaif KAPOOR’
It was a proud moment for India, yet again. For, our Desi girl Priyanka Chopra hosted the Global Citizen Festival at Central Park's Great Lawn in New York City a few hours ago.

The Indian edition of the festival will take place in Mumbai on November 19 and Coldplay’s frontman, Chris Martin, took to the stage to make the official announcement of the celebrity line-up. He said, “We are very excited to go to India on November 19 along with Jay Z and lots of other people we have on the list... Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif Kapoor, A.R. Rahman, Farhan Akhtar...”

Yes, he did say Katrina Kaif KAPOOR. Don’t believe us? Check out the video:

Notice Priyanka’s reaction to Chris’s goof up. The festival brought several big names of music such as Rihanna, Demi Lovato and Kendrick Lamar among others under one roof.

From the looks of it, the Quantico actress had a great time hobnobbing with the who’s who of Hollywood. Check out how she had a great time backstage with Hugh Jackman and his wife Deborra Lee.

As the ambassador for Global Citizen, PeeCee spoke at the event saying, “It’s been amazing! I have to keep going back on the stage, remember my lines, but besides that, I had the best seats on the house seeing everybody perform...so be jealous! This is an amazing cause and you see so many people who have come together for something that’s going to affect the planet. It is so powerful to see that. I am a Global Citizen and when they asked me to be their ambassador, it was a no brainer that I wanted to be a part of it.”

This annual event brings world leaders, activists and A-list supporters together in an effort to end extreme poverty by 2030.
