When Deepika Padukone Revealed The Actual Reason Behind 'No-Phone Policy' At Wedding With Ranveer Singh In Italy; 'Privacy Was Secondary'
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's wedding at Lake Como, Italy was a very private affair. With only a limited guest list, the couple had strictly imposed a 'no-phone' policy at the wedding. Apart from the official pictures shared by the couple post the wedding, not a single picture of the two or guests had made their way to the internet. In an interview with Filmfare, Deepika Padukone had revealed the reason behind it.

The leggy lass had stated that they wanted the guests to rather be in the moment and enjoy the wedding instead of being glued to their phones. She had said, "Privacy was secondary. The reason we asked our guests not to have cell phones was because we wanted them to be present in the moment. Usually, everyone is on their cell phones, capturing the moment."

She further added, "These moments should be in your mind and heart as they’re never going to come back. Every single guest, I kid you not, is so thankful. People who’ve never danced in their lives were on the dance floor. People who’ve never tasted alcohol were tasting wine. That’s how free people were." Deepika Padukone mentioned that the guests understood where they were coming from and obliged their request.

Post their wedding in Italy, Deepika and Ranveer had organised lavish receptions in Bengaluru and Mumbai. Quite a few Bollywood stars had attended their reception and it turned out to be an extravagant affair. Stay tuned to SpotboyE for more updates.
