When Ranbir Kapoor SLAMMED A Journalist For Questioning Him On Working With ‘Former Lover’ Deepika Padukone- Watch VIDEO
Ranbir Kapoor being one of the most savage actor’s in Bollywood had once trolled a journalist during Tamasha’s press conference
Bollywood actors Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone are one of the most loved on-screen jodis. It’s a well known fact that they had started dating after working together in Bachna Ae Haseeno and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. However, the fans were left heartbroken when their off-screen romance was short-lived. To everyone’s surprise, despite their relationship ending badly they collaborated again for Imtiaz Ali’s movie Tamasha.
During a press conference of the film, a bold journalist had gone on to question the couple how working with the ‘former lover’ was like. A video of the same is doing the rounds on social media and Ranbir’s savage comeback has left everyone in splits. In the video, the journalist can be heard asking, “We rarely see that happen in Bollywood, where two former lovers come together for a movie. Interrupting Ranbir, Deepika sarcastically lauds the journalist for his ‘unique question’. The actor, who essays the role of Ved in the movie, goes on to explain that they both get up early in the morning, freshen up, get ready and reach the set. Once they do “Imtiaz Ali hume scene batate hain aur hum shoot karte hain. Finished!”
For the unversed, they were last seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra: Part One - Shiva, where Ranbir played the character Shiva and Deepika had a cameo as Shiva’s mother Amrita. While they never shared the screen space, fans have been hoping to see them together as the sequel of the film is said to be focused on Dev and Amrita. Talking about their personal lives, both the actors are happily married to their respective spouses. Deepika tied the knot with Ranveer Singh in 2018. Ranbir married Alia Bhatt in 2022, they even welcomed their daughter Raha Kapoor in November.
