Sushant Singh Rajput's death on June 14 sent a shockwave across the nation. The actor died by suicide at his apartment in Bandra, Mumbai, and the investigation in his death is still underway. So far, over 30 people linked to the late actor have been interrogated, including his rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, his father KK Singh, his Dil Bechara co-star Sanjana Sanghi. In the days following Sushant’s death, several of his old videos, interviews, and pictures have been doing the rounds on the Internet. One such video shows him talking about the actors being self-obsessed.

In a 2016 interview with Anupama Chopra, Sushant Singh Rajput was asked if the vanity of an actor gets in the way of relationships, to which Sushant said, “It might.”He then went on to say about how actors are so self-obsessed and only wanna talk about themselves, but never listen. “Most of the actors cannot talk beyond themselves. They are just so self-obsessed, they just wanna talk about themselves. Even if they are very very good at their work, they just wanna talk about that. So it gets to a point, I mean people want somebody to listen. That's an art that is just not surviving anymore,” said Sushant.

“People just don't listen. If they have something, if they want something out of you they would pretend to listen. But they just don't listen anymore, they are not hearing,” he said. Take a look:


Sushant Singh Rajput was cremated at Pawan Hans Crematorium, Mumbai, on June 15.
