Acting chops and beauty apart, if there’s anything else about the gorgeous Alia Bhatt that drives her fans crazy, it has to be her super toned and flexible body. Time and again, the 26-year-old actress has managed to shell out some major fitness goals for all her fans. And it looks like Alia Bhatt’s passion for staying fit has no boundaries, even if that means deadlifting a whopping 70-kg. Yes, you read it right! As much as we hate going to the gym, Alia Bhatt is out an out deriving some major fitness goals.
In a video shared by the official account of SOHFIT (Alia Bhatt’s gym) on their Instagram, the Highway actress could be seen trying her hands at deadlifting 70 kgs and after a lot of efforts and patience, she manages to nail it, and how! In their caption, Alia Bhatt couldn’t stop raving praises over her remarkable efforts. In fact, they revealed that at first when she just began lifting, Alia Bhatt wasn’t comfortable with weights. However, she can now lift more than her body weight. Wow! Check out the post below:
“I’m going to give this star the credit she deserves. When she started earlier this year - she hadn’t lifted weights too often in her life. It took a while to get her to start enjoying being strong - not skinny - strong! The first time she tried a deadlift, we used one single 20lb dumbbell and that wasn’t even 9 months back. A few weeks back she managed to get in 5 reps at 50 kgs and she rocked it. Today was lifting day and we felt we had the energy to push that weight a little higher. After a few warm-up sets, she cruised through 3 reps at 60kgs which was a personal best for her anyway. Next, we decided to push it even further and do just 1 rep at 70 kgs - knowing @aliaabhatt she decided to give me 2 for good measure. Love the fact that she just NEVER backs down from what’s put in front of her,” read the caption. Kudos to this young beauty! This proves how dedicated Alia Bhatt is.
On the work front, Alia Bhatt will be next seen in Brahmastra, Takht and RRR.
