World Health Day: Sonu Sood Takes A Jab Of COVID-19 Vaccine; Launches ‘Sanjeevani’, A COVID Vaccination Drive All Across India
On World Health Day, Sonu Sood launched ‘Sanjeevani’, an initiative to bring about awareness and get people vaccinated against COVID-19. He also took a jab of the COVID-19 vaccine today
It’s World Health Day today, and Bollywood actor Sonu Sood launched "Sanjeevani: A Shot of Life", an initiative to bring about awareness on the importance of getting vaccinated to fight Coronavirus. He took to his social media to announce that he has started the biggest vaccination drive today, and he also received the first jab of COVID-19 vaccine today. He took to his social media account to share a picture of him receiving the shot of the COVID vaccine.
Sharing the snap, Sonu Sood also informed followers about the vaccination drive. “Got my vaccine today and now it's time to get whole of my country vaccinated. Started the biggest vaccination drive "Sanjeevani" which will bring awareness and get our people vaccinated. @IlaajIndia @Network18Group @SoodFoundation,” he wrote. He also shared another video, and wrote, “Coming to you for your vaccination. Biggest vaccination drive begins.” Last year, the actor was hailed as the ‘messiah’ of migrants after he ensured that migrant workers reached their villages when the lockdown was imposed.
Sonu Sood started the vaccination drive today, beginning from Amritsar. While speaking to ETimes, Sonu Sood said that there has been a lot of confusion in people’s minds about the vaccine, and whether they should take it or not. This is why he thought it was time to spread awareness about the importance of getting vaccinated.
