Chandigarh-based model Harnaaz Sandhu made the entire nation proud by winning the coveted title of ‘Miss Universe 2021’ on 12th December. She was crowned the 70th Miss Universe by the previous Miss Universe Andrea Meza of Mexico, at the Israeli Red Sea resort town of Eilat. Harnaaz brought home the crown, 21 years after Lara Dutta won the title in 2000. Sushmita Sen had won the crown back in 1994. As part of her prize, Miss Universe 2021 not only won a whopping amount but many exciting and expensive things.
According to the latest report in Bollywoodlife, Harnaaz won the most expensive crown, New York apartment, and free global travel and VIP access. Apart from these luxuries, the 21-year-old model also got a team of all-expense-paid professional experts from the Miss Universe organization for an entire year. Right from artists, photographers, stylists, dermatologists, nutrition experts, dentists, and others, professional experts will cater to all her requirements and queries.
The report added that Harnaaz apparently won a sum of US$ 250,000, which amounts to about Rs. 1.89 crore as the prize money. Her crown is estimated to be the world’s most expensive crown. It costs Rs. 37 crore and she is only permitted to keep the crown till the next Miss Universe is announced.
In view of the agreement that she signed upon being declared the winner, Harnaaz Sandhu can reside in the official Miss Universe apartment for a year in New York. Harnaaz Sandhu also gets free access to VIP entry to the world’s biggest events, parties, premieres, and movie screenings. Her travel, lodging, and food expenses would be taken care of by the organization for a whole year.
