Actress Yami Gautam and her hubby, filmmaker Aditya Dhar are over the moon as they are all set to embrace parenthood. Currently five-and-a-half months pregnant, the couple announced the good news during the trailer launch of their upcoming film Article 370. The fans of the couple have been over the moon as they are eagerly anticipating to know more about the actress’ pregnancy journey. In a recent interview with News 18, she opened up about her journey and expressed how different she feels now that she is carrying a life inside her.
During the interview, she explained how she is feeling special and empowered. Quoted by Bollywood Shaadis, she added, “It feels really good and so empowering. Motherhood gives you a different kind of confidence and power. I’ve been working and have been independent all my life, and all those things are there. But I suddenly feel so special. Talking about the advice she had been receiving from everyone ever since her pregnancy announcement, the 35-year-old actress stated that people have been telling her to catch up on her sleep as might not get any after the baby arrives. She added, “But how will I get so much sleep? I can only sleep so much.” Not only did she express that going through the pregnancy is making her nostalgic about her own childhood, but she also shared that she already feels connected to her kids as the baby’s heartbeat and soul are synced with hers. For the unversed, Yami and Aditya tied the knot in the presence of the family in 2021. Having met during the shoot of URI: The Surgical Strike, love blossomed between the couple. After weeks of speculation, they confirmed Yami’s pregnancy in earlier in February.
On the work front, last seen in OMG 2 alongside Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi, she will be next seen in Aditya Suhas Jambhale directorial Article 370. Set to release on February 23, the movie also stars Priyamani in the lead role.
