Yash Raj hasn't forgiven Shraddha Kapoor
While she may workout at YRF's gym, when it comes to business, the equation hasn't changed

When Shraddha Kapoor opted out of YRF's 3-film deal, she hadn't quite imagined that she no longer would be welcomed in the Yash Raj stable, ever again.

SpotboyE has exclusively learnt that the Hindi remake of Mani Ratnam's Ok Kanmani (a Tamil hit of 2015) was originally meant to be bankrolled by Yash Raj Films.

The deal was almost through but ...

Director Shaad Ali, a homegrown YRF talent, wanted only Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor as the film demands the kind of chemistry only real-life lovers can bring in.

However, YRF big boss Aditya Chopra shot down the idea of having Shraddha on board and insisted an in-house talent (Read: Parineeti Chopra) be bought in.

For those who've come in late, Shraddha and Aditya fell out after the former breached her 3-film deal by signing up for Mohit Suri's Aashiqui 2 (a risk that paid rich dividends) with Aditya Roy Kapur - a pairing, ironically, Shaad wanted to repeat for Ok Kamnai.

Left with no choice and eager to have the duo, Shaad co pitched the project to Karan Johar- and the rest, as they say, is history.

We are guessing that Karan had a word with his close friend Aditya before giving his nod to Shaad--- but we are definitely sure of one thing. There's no going back of Shaad--- Bunty aur Babli, Kill Dil--- to Yash Raj. Right Shraddha?
