Bollywood actress Zareen Khan has seen her fair share of ups and down in her career that has spanned over a decade. Having made her debut with Salman Khan’s Veer in 2010, she failed to impress the audience with her acting performances and was dubbed as a ‘Katrina Kaif look-alike’. Over the years, she has garnered a huge fan following as she has been an inspiration to women struggling with body positivity. The actress has now taken to her official social media handle to reveal that she was diagnosed with dengue.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Zareen shared a photo of her hand which was connected to the tubes on Tuesday. Sharing the picture, she wrote the caption, “#LIFEUPDATE.” Worried fans stormed the social media with well wishes as they encouraged her to get better soon. On Wednesday, she shared a health update, by taking to Instagram stories and posting a photo of a juice glass, with the caption, “#RECOVERYMODE.”

Through her posts she encouraged her fans to take care of themselves and be careful of the rising cases of dengue fever, a mosquito-borne viral infection. According to a report in Mid-Day, cases of malaria and dengue have been rising in Mumbai in August. The spike in the cases could be because of the unusual monsoon patterns.
For the unversed, after making her debut in Bollywood, Zareen was also seen in movies like Ready, Housefull 2, Aksar 2 and Hate Story 3. She ventured into not only the Punjabi industry but also Tamil and Telugu industry, where she flourished due to her acting prowess. In 2018, she was seen hosting MTV Troll Police.
