Veteran Bollywood actress Zeenat Aman has been taking social media by storm with her views on the world and her experiences. Ever since making her Instagram debut, she hasn’t left a stone unturned when it comes to sharing her personal and professional experiences with her followers. Her revelations have been leaving fans in awe. On Tuesday, she took to her official handle to share an old sepia-toned photo. She, filmmaker Joy Mukherjee, and actress Dimple Kapadia are seen sitting on chairs having a discussion, as Aman smoked.

Taking to the captions, she revealed that she can’t seem to recall where the photo was taken. However, it was taken during the shoot of Chhailla Babu. She clarified that the photo must have been a BTS picture clicked on the set as she is wearing her own clothes and not the costume. She pointed out that she was sitting with the director of the film and Dimple Kapadia, who was visiting the set as she was married to the lead actor (Rajesh Khanna). The 72-year-old actress added that they both got “big career breaks” because of Raj Kapoor. Speaking about their bond and Kapadia stood by by her during a difficult phase, she wrote, “During a very difficult phase in my life she was one of a mere handful of people who publicly stood by me. This despite the criticism and scrutiny of her own life that the decision invited! In those trying times she revealed to me a strength of character that I admire to date. I don’t believe she is on Instagram, but perhaps @twinklerkhanna will pass on my love to her. She concluded by stating that no one should be influenced by her smoking in the image. She admitted, “I’ll admit I enjoyed a few cigarettes a day between my late teens and early 30s, but that all went out of the window the minute I became pregnant with my first born!”

As soon as the post went viral, Twinkle Khanna, took to her Instagram stories and shared the post. She went on to pass her mother, Dimple Kapadia’s wishes to the veteran actress. She wrote, “What a lovely picture and Mom says thank you for your gracious words.”
