Anupam Kher: I Didn't Say Anything Wrong To Aamir

A few days ago Anupam Kher made headlines when he tweeted against Aamir Khan's intolerance remarks. (Anupam Kher Fires A Salvo Against Aamir, November 24).
The actor clarified his statement saying it to be spontaneous reaction. At a recent event, Anupam said, "I don't want to come across as a crusader that I have to speak on every topic everywhere. I was in Toronto and when my Muslim cab driver informed me about this incident, I reacted promptly. I have stuck to it and I haven't said anything wrong. I just said, it's a great country and with a position of power comes sense of responsibility. As celebrities, we have to say things which do not create fear. I have great love for Aamir and I am not saying this to be politically correct."
He further added, "We can all make popular statements, but I run an acting school and I keeping telling them to stick to honesty and truth and stick to the spontaneity of your heart."
