Actress-model Lisa Ray is a true inspiration for all cancer patients. At a recent cancer awareness event, she talked about how she coped with the disease and came out victorious.
"Life is not a cakewalk," Lisa said, adding, "When I was diagnosed with cancer, there were different thoughts on my mind; my career, family, friends, everything. But I understood very early that if there was anyone who could defeat the cancer in me, it was me myself. So, I went ahead and did everything that was necessary."
Lisa said a lot of good things had happened to her post cancer. "I met the man of my dreams and got married. Who would think that would happen after cancer," she concluded.
