Nawazuddin Siddiqui opens up on the assault case

An FIR was registered against Nawazuddin Siddiqui for assaulting a woman over a parking dispute (Nawazuddin encroaching space in his building, January 17). The actor appeared at the Versova police station this morning to clarify his stance.
“I don’t even know the person who is claiming that we had a dispute. I wasn’t summoned by the police. I came on my own to tell them my side of the story. Now, we shall have to wait for the police to come up with their investigation and then only will some result will be out,” said Nawaz.
The actor’s lawyer added that once the truth comes out, Nawaz’s team will slap a defamation case.
