Remember the recent incident in Bangalore where a Tanzanian woman was asked to strip down and walk naked on the streets? Seems it’s not just commoners who face racism.
At an event yesterday, Sonam Kapoor was asked to comment on the incident and she said, “Racism and intolerance is not specific to India. It exists everywhere in the world. I have faced racism all over the world.”
She went on to emphasise that education is of prime importance, as that helps ignorant people understand about racism and intolerance.
