Sooraj Barjatya's Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is Salman Khan's most expensive film ever. At a recent event, when the filmmaker was asked why he decided to take so much risk, he answered:
"I made this film only for Salman. I wanted to create a character that will be revered by generations. I wanted to make a film, where he (Salman) can change people's hearts. I know youngsters don't come that frequently to watch my films, but I would request them to take their family and watch PRDP.
Even if you don't watch it, at least take time out of your busy schedule and spend time with your family. Sometimes, we don't talk to our family members and miss out on a lot of things. Later, when they are not around anymore, we start regretting all that. That's the main message of this film and I hope it gets conveyed."
Salman, who was also present at the event, said people should not just spend time with their family, but also take them to watch his movie. Now isn't that simply cute?
