Saree, not sorry! Those days are gone when sarees were donned only during weddings, receptions or spiritual outings. In today’s time, saree has become a normal thing. Women find days to wear a saree because it not only looks elegant and beautiful, it has also become hassle-free. Why are we talking so much about sarees though? Well, it is because this week, two leading ladies of Bollywood, Alia Bhatt and Janhvi Kapoor, gave us some saree inspo and we simply can’t get over their perfect looks. However, we would like to know whose look impressed you the most. No matter who you guys chose, we must say that both these ladies managed to make our hearts skip a beat.
Talking about Janhvi Kapoor, she wore Manish Malhotra lilac sequin saree, teaming with a plunging neck blouse. The combination looked uber sexy. She rounded her look with bare minerals and kept her hair open with a pair of dangling earrings. The actress can easily make anyone’s heart miss a ‘Dhadak.’ Check out the pictures below: ALSO READ: How To Wear A Saree: Seek Inspo From Taapsee Pannu, Sonam Kapoor, Shilpa Shetty On Draping The 9 Yard Wonder
While speaking of the Gully Boy actress, Alia Bhatt chose to let her saree do the talking. By wearing a Sabyasachi multicolour saree, the actress gave a new definition to it. Though one can easily point out a number of flaws, Alia did work it out by keeping her make-up very restricted. She went easy on jewellery too. She chose to keep her blouse simple and hence, it is working out better with the already busy saree. FYI, she was seen wearing this saree at Star Screen Awards 2019.
Meanwhile, Janhvi Kapoor has some interesting projects in her casket which includes, Dostana 2, Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, Ghost Stories and Roohi-Afza. While Alia recently won Best Actor Female Popular award at SSA 2019. She will be next seen in Brahmastra, Takht and Sadak 2.
