Athiya comes gift-wrapped; Kareena’s bag has a life mantra
Athiya Shetty attended a jewellery event in a Bibhu Mohapatra gown. The event was to celebrate Bibhu’s collaboration with the jewellery brand, so that explains her choice of designer. While the gold train added drama, to what would have otherwise been a plain black and white gown, it also gave the feel of wrapping paper.

While the gold train added drama, to what would have otherwise been a plain black and white gown, it also gave the feel of wrapping paper.
What worked, though, was Athiya’s retro curled hair.
Kareena Kapoor boarded a flight in a denim dress and a bag that said: Cheese Burger Fries & A Cosmo. That’s like my life’s mantra.

The week saw another Bibhu Mohapatra, this one on Madhuri Dixit. I think this is the best she’s looked in a while. The dress, the hair, the make-up – everything came together beautifully.
This Geisha Designs dress on Bhumi Pednekar was lovely. If anything, it was her styling that was a letdown. A funky braid and ankle strap sandals would have been much better.
Ah my eyes! My eyes! So much going on here and so much to hate. Especially the collar that’s trying to strangle her. Better luck next time, Shriya Saran.
I’m loving the cape trend – it makes people look like they’re out of a period drama. However, given the colour and fall of this ensemble, Sangeeta Bijlani looks like she’s in a period drama about nightgowns.
