Baisakhi is one of the major festivals celebrated by the Sikhs residing across the globe. The community celebrates this festival for spring harvest, dressing up in vibrant and colourful outfits, mostly ladies in the house grab the limelight. On that note, take cues on how to dress up in Baisakhi this year from Punjabi entertainment industry’s actresses.
How about a gharara like Sonam Bajwa! Seen in lime yellow gharara with embroidery all over it, the actress aptly styled it with jhumkas. While she kept her makeup subtle and let her hair loose with a middle partition.
Next is Neetu Bajwa. You can also opt for a bright yellow number like Neeru Bajwa and style it with a statement choker necklace. Neeru looks nothing less than a burst of sunshine in this bright yellow gharara with heavy embroidery work on her dupatta. There are tiny flowers embroidered on her kurta with a heavy border.
Besides the yellow palette, an electric orange is also apt for the Baisakhi occasion. Actress Nimrat Khaira is seen in an electric orange suit with heavy zardozi work on her neckline and sleeves. She added a dash of green to it by choosing a pearl and emerald necklace.

The actress is seen in a floor-length gown in shades of orange with floral work on it, with a ruffled dupatta, keeping this look elegant she chose to sport a choker necklace in a similar shade of her outfit.
Or simply choose a white-golden number just like Shehnaaz Gill. The BB13 runner up is seen in a Salwar suit with sequin work over it with a heavy golden border to her top and dupatta. Ditching a necklace, she styled her look with a statement maang tikka and earrings.
