BEST DRESSED & WORST DRESSED At IIFA 2019: Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif, Sara Ali Khan, Alia Bhatt Or Mouni Roy?
As it rained and thundered in the city, last night, it also poured glamour at the NSCI Some, Worli. IIFA 2019 laid its green carpet for Bollywood and we take a check on the fashion fever of the event
Yes it was raining cats and dogs but it was also pouring stars at the IIFA 2019, which took place last night at the NSCI Dome, Worli. Ask me how was the fashion fever at the event and I'd say quite low. My biggest disappointment was to see Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. Guess the couple pushed the envelope a little to much this time.
Deepika wore a Gaurav Gupta gown in lavender. The feather detailing on th bottom of her gown for the actress a lot of attention but for the wrong reason as her look was instantly compared to Kylie Jenner's Versace number. Talking about Deepika's look, the drape on the head was absolutely unnecessary and made me feel it was an extension to one of her wedding receptions. The jewllery was also not very impressive.

Katrina Kaif was seen sporting glitter in off-white. She wore a high front slit separate with dramatic long sleeves. Kat styled her hair simple and straight and wore a string around the neck. Alia Bhatt was in a mood of drama and was seen flaunting nude love. The Raazi actress wore a Georges Chakra creation and opted for shiny make-up with a lot of highlighter play. She braided her hair in a flirtatious way and did not accessorize her look much.
Sara Ali Khan was seen in an understated avatar. She wore a beautiful white Cinderella gown in white by Gaurav Gupta, with a top knot bun. The actress' make-up was subtle and she opted for a nude look. Urvashi Rautela, on the other hand, was in her usual over the top self, as she wore a white rose themed mermaid fit gown. Hair tied in top knot, Urvashi's make-up was loud too.
Mouni Roy was also seen playing it subtle in a sea green layered gown with feather detailing.She too pulled her hair up in a bun and ditched accessories.
