BEST DRESSED & WORST DRESSED AT IIFA ROCKS 2017: Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, Disha Patani, Kriti Sanon Or Taapsee Pannu?

Just one more day to go for B-Town celebs to descend on the IIFA 2017 green carpet. Last night in NYC, the stars attended IIFA Rocks. Let’s take a look at who mastered the style game and who faltered in it...
I can’t wait to see where the style-o-meter will reach this time at IIFA 2017. But before that, it’s time to check how fashionable our Bollywood stars kept it at the IIFA Rocks 2017 event.
Starting with the one who completely stunned me- Katrina Kaif! Again in Red, but this time nailing it like a diva, Katrina was a big big surprise in that dazzling gold and red number.
We all know, she loves keeping it subtle and never goes overboard. But this time, right from her make-up to her hair-do, everything was so NOT Katrina Kaif style, but hey, I am not complaining. Maybe the outfit she wore is not out of the world, but just for breaking away from the monotony and doing something unlike her style, I give Katrina a big thumbs up.
Alia Bhatt too gave a pleasant surprise in a fine Indian avatar. She looked surreal in a plain white embroidered lehenga choli. Alia tied her hair in a bun and carried the desi look with swag.
Here comes the lady who disappointed me a lot. Disha Patani wore a skimpy shimmer dress for the night. Frankly, not only is the dress way tooooooo common but also not so appropriate for an event like IIFA. You need to experiment, keep it trendy and stand out. Clearly, Disha’s look fails in all these sections.
Now when I say experimenting, kindly overlook Neha Dhupia at the green carpet. This is- ‘what not to do’ at the red carpet category. I personally like Neha’s style, she knows how to keep it fashionable and sexy but her IIFA Rocks avatar is a complete no-no. Neha wore a collared printed dress which made her look weirdly big. She tied her hair in a bun and to add little drama and two strands over her forehead, which were the spoilers here.

Kalki Koechlin looked pleasant in a Sabyasachi saree. However, it was not the usual one- Kalki experimented a bit with the blouse and accessorized her look with a thin cummerbund. Overall, it was a good attempt.
Huma Qureshi was also a disappointment as she chose to don a very average gown, which made her frame look broader. She tied her hair in a weird way which further spoilt the look. The gown was just too casual and boring.

Raabta actress, Kriti Sanon was just about OK in that baby pink Cinderella gown. Again, a safe choice and something we have seen it over the time on red carpets. Expected a bit better from Kriti!

Taapsee Pannu took the fusion route for the event. She wore a bridal red ethnic print gown and put on a bindi to give the Indian touch. I am a little confused about her look because overall Taapsee looks pretty but if I had to breakdown her look, then may be my vote will go against it. It was not the best of both the worlds fused together.
Talking about the men, well all looked dapper in their suits. Be it Shahid’s quirky white, Salman’s grey or Saif’s royal blue- the Bollwyood boys just nailed it and how.
