Last night Taj Lands End, Bandra, style, glamour glitz and sparkle all came together to put up a great bash for ace designer Manish Malhotra as he turned 50 yesterday. Of course Manish has given some of the sexiest, stylish and trend setting wardrobes to our Bollywood ladies. So, how could they mess-up dressing on his birthday bash. So here you go-our fashion post-mortem for the bash. The theme of the party was Black and  Gold!

KAREENA FOLLOWED THE BLACK:

She is pregnant in her last month, but does that pull back Kareena Kapoor Khan from looking anything lesser than a diva? Hell NO! She attended the party wearing black gown, with a dangerously low neck. Hair let loose with those beautiful waves, Kareena looked absolutely stunning.


AISHWARYA FOLLOWED THE GOLD:

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan looked pretty decent in that shimmery gold anarkali. It’s typical ‘Aishwarya play safe attire’. Nothing much to rave about and nothing seriously wrong with it either. Quite average!

SONAM FOLLOWED THE BLACK:

Sonam donned a sexy black long gown with neatly tied bun. She yet again chose to reveal tad bit more with that sheer patch on her neck. Looks like Sonam ditched the gold and chose the bold for the evening. I like what she wore though, especially those bell-sleeves.

ALIA FOLLOWED THE GOLD:


Now that’s what we call a perfect style diva. Carrying so much shimmer with ease and poise is Alia Bhatt’s talent. She wore a collared shirt dress. Her hair-do was neat straight gelled hair. Kohl eyes and lots of attitude. Ten on ten to Alia for her look.

ANUSHKA FOLLWED THE BLACK:


Not very impressed with what she wore but since it’s black, the damage is minimal. Very outdated cut and one-sided neckline. Come on Anushka, you could have done much better than this.


JACQUELINE FOLLOWED THE GOLD:

This fashionista too disappointed us with her lame gown. So not hot Jacqueline. With a bod like yours, why would you be so laded with layers? The waist belt is kind of annoying too.


So that was the style scene at Manish Malhotra’s birthday bash, where our B-Town ladies didn’t disappoint us much except a few. Kudos to all!
