Cannes 2018: Basic But Bold Says Deepika Padukone, Shimmer & Drama Is Kangana Ranaut’s Call!
Day 2 at the Cannes red carpet was yet again a grand show by Bollywood ladies- Kangana Ranaut & Deepika Padukone. Here’s what they chose to don for the night...
Deepika Padukone and Kangana Ranaut were a total bomb, last night, at the Cannes 2018 red carpet and also at the Chopard party, later in the night.
Let’s start with the drama queen, Kangana Ranaut. Bollywood’s Queen played a lot yesterday with both her looks.
Talking about the red carpet look, Kangana wore a shimmery fitted catsuit with flared bottoms by Nedret Taciroglu. Kangana kept her hair messy in tight curls and flaunted that bold neckline confidently.
Not just her look but even Kangana’s poses were dramatic. She totally slayed it at the red carpet with this one. It does take a lot of confidence to pull-off a look as ‘catty’ as this!
And now coming to her 2nd look for the night for the party, Kangana kept the dress basic but again the edge was that shimmery electric blue scarf which she wrapped around her neck.
For her hair and make-up, the actress kept it simple, she tied the curls in a high pony and went nude on face.
The look was a clever one which stood out because of the colour combination.
Deepika Padukone took a bold step last night at the red carpet. She wore a grand ruffled gown in bright fuchsia. The gown, by Ashi Studio, is a number to remember because of its grandness.
The winged sleeves and the ruffled bottom make the gown look apart. Deepika carries it off confidently and the combination of wearing emerald green statement earrings and ring by Lorraine Schwartz was a fantastic one.
Hair tied in a top bun and make-up blending well with the look- Deepika was a total cracker!
And now, Deepika's last look of Day 2- a simple black extra long sleeved gown by marcellvonberlin with a deep v-neck. Deepika fared well in this one as the choice was safe. But again, this one had nothing wow about it and nothing wrong about it.
Her hair and make-up were unchanged for it. The actress just changed her accessories for this one.
Overall, day 2 was a fantastic show by Kangana and Deepika- well done ladies!
