Some days ago, the Dabboo Ratnani 2020 calendar was unveiled and it, as usual, featured a streak of Bollywood biggies. Among many others, it was Kiara Advani’s topless picture, which showed the actress standing naked and hiding her assets with a huge leaf that got everyone talking. Well, the picture soon grabbed the headlines for all the wrong reasons. Dabboo Ratnani was soon accused of copying an international photographer named Marie Bärsch’s concept. However, the celebrity photographer has outright denied all such claims in his latest post.
In fact, Dabboo Ratnani revealed how he copied his old photoshoot, which featured Tabu in the year 2002 and not any international photographer. He also shared a picture of Tabu’s 2002 shoot along with Kiara Advani’s latest picture for his calendar. In his caption, Dabboo defended himself by writing, “Beautiful @tabutiful for #dabbooratnanicalendar 2002. #lovenature This timeless & mesmerising shot of Tabu was taken in the year 2001 and it featured in my calendar in the year 2002. There’s been a lil noise about @kiaraaliaadvani ‘s breathtaking 2020 calendar shot with leaf! Guess if I can reuse my camera, I can definitely repeat my own concept!”
“If at all that doesn’t go well with trolls, then I admit to plagiarising MY OWN SELF #loveandpeace @dabbooratnani @manishadratnani Huge Thanks to my friends who trust me ! That’s all that matters,” he added. As for Tabu’s picture, the actress was posing topless behind the leaf of a coconut tree, as she seductively gazed towards the camera.
