We started the conversation by asking Deepika how important is fashion for her, leaving aside the fact that it forms a big part of her job. We then asked her how different are international red carpets to the Indian ones and the actress, who was quite honest in her reply, said, "The vibe and media presence is all the same but I feel we can work on our red carpet lighting. International red carpets have very nice lights for beautiful pictures. Also, a lot of times our red carpets feel dead, we can play some music to lift up the mood." We then spoke about Ranveer Singh's style statement and if he is involved in Deepika's styling process, as she has started making a lot of quirky choices after marriage. To which, pat came Deepika's reply, "I feel people are discrediting me for my bold choices in the past. Yes, my style is simple and subtle but I always had the quirky side too."
