Deepika Padukone won the IIFA Best 20 award for being the best actress at the recently concluded IIFA AWARDS 2019. The lady came in very late at the gala yet grabbed everyone's attention, thanks to her gown. Deepika showed up in a purple tube gown and had a long netted trail on her head. While Deepika miserably failed to impress the fashion police, many found her outfit to be a copy of what Kylie Jenner had worn at MET gala 2019. Netizens were quick enough to spot similarities between both their outfits.

Deepika for the event wore a creation crafted by ace designer Gaurav Gupta. It was a tube gown with purple feathers at the bottom. Even her long trail had feathers. Moving to Kylie, her MET gala outfit by Donatella Versace was on similar lines. It was a deep neck cut tube dress with feathers at the bottom. While she did not have a trail, Kylie wore hand gloves filled with feathers. Best is both their outfits were in purple.


Well, one can always seek inspiration from the other, right?

On the other hand, Deepika’s husband Ranveer Singh once again picked up a quirky outfit for IIFA 2019. He kinda had a samurai look as he sported a cute ponytail. He was wearing a Moschino grey suit with a satin red drape across. However, we felt, even he could have done better.
