Actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas always leaves everyone’s heart racing whenever she is seen wearing a dangerously low, cleavage-revealing outfit. As expected, she did create some fireworks when she attended the recently concluded Billboard Music Awards 2021 wearing a sheer and blingy attire by Dolce & Gabbana. The sheer outfit has a dangerous plunging neckline and a thigh-high slit which is definitely not for faint-hearted people. She paired her dress with a metallic belt, amplifying the oomph factor. The Quantico actor rounded her look with bronze makeup, chandelier earrings and keeping her sleek straight hair down. Unarguably, Chopra ensured to make everyone’s head turn.
The stunning lady surprised us with her whimsical fashion but the famous Instagram account Diet Sabya who slams the designer as well as the celebs for wearing rip-off clothes was not impressed with PCJ's choice of wearing Dolce & Gabbana outfit for the event. Diet Sabya, which also calls out plagiarism by fashion brands took to their Instagram stories to call out the actor. They wrote, “Not Pri wearing a dress by the very problematic, racist and homophobic Dolce and Gabbana.” They also shared a screenshot of people commenting on her post and questioning why she chose to wear Dolce and Gabbana or why her stylist let her wear the designer’s outfit.
For the uninitiated, Dolce and Gabbana have allegedly a long history of racist behaviour and have made culturally insensitive ads about Asian people. Earlier, D&G made an ad where they showed how a Chinese woman struggles to eat spaghetti. Indicating how Chinese woman knows how to embrace fashion but they are stupid to understand their culture.
That’s not it, the fashion brand has even made some derogatory racists remarks on China due to which the Cultural Affairs Bureau of Shanghai reportedly had to cancel a show with them.
