Fashion hits and misses from Bipasha-Karan Singh Grover wedding
Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover tied the knot over the weekend and I put on my rose-tinted designer glasses to scout for style trends, hits and misses from this badass Bollywood shaadi. Couple of the moment scored a perfect 10 on 10 with their sartorial choice. While Bips chose a tried and tested red and gold number for the main event, for the reception she slipped into a funky shimmery gold Anarkali. She teamed this with a layered emerald necklace. Both looks were designed by Sabyasachi.

While the bride went all out on the bling, Karan balanced it out wearing a classic black and white suit with a bowtie.
Ranbir Kapoor, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan played it safe again. Though we expected them to go a little experimental, they chose those formal black numbers. But we are not complaining, because, they looked absolutely delicious.
The Bachchans came colour-coordinated; both Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai wore black. I see a little too much happening on Ash’s flashy mirrored Manish Malhotra long kurta. I also think she could have given the neck piece a miss here.
Swag alert! Fashion's favourite child Sonam Kapoor picked up a Nikasha sari, fresh off the AIFW runway. Full marks to the lady for trying something new every single time.
Dia mirza looked beautiful in a grey Shantanu and Nikhil gown. Her funky hairdo adds to the look.
