The leading ladies of Bollywood are putting their hair up in funky braids and cool twists, points out Ayesha Nair

Jacqueline Fernandez is queen of cool. She decided that just a single braid would not do for her so she got a whole bunch of them.

Sonam Kapoor has been all around town promoting Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and she's been appropriately dressed in Indian attire which she sometimes overdoes (Deepika, Sonam Overdo The Desi Look, October 21). But her hair has almost always been on point.

Sonam's hair and make-up artiste Namrata Soni not only put her hair in a thick braid but then twisted it to look like a flower! That's insanely cool.

Sonam's a great fan of keeping things simple with braids on either side going into a full bun or a half one.
