Kareena Kapoor Dazzles As The Showstopper At The LFW Finale

Kareena Kapoor's skinny avatar at the recently concluded Lakme Fashion Week 2015 left us a tad surprised (Bebo, why did you lose weight when Saif likes you voluptuous, August 31).
While she didn't exactly cut a striking picture in the white maxi dress, the actress was back to her gorgeous self as she turned showstopper for Gaurav Gupta at LFW finale. Kareena was a vision as she strutted the runway in a black ensemble. Compensation indeed!
But she wasn't the only thing of beauty at the 5-day long fashion celebration. With fash-frat, design hounds, film stars and wannabes - all converging at the show, LFW was a melting pot of funky fashion and forgettable faux pas.
Looks like style runs in the Kapoor family. Kareena's cousin Ranbir Kapoor scorched the ramp in a red blazer as he turned showstopper for friend Manish Malhotra on day 1. Talk about red hot!
Shahid Kapoor and his wife Mira Rajput made a beeline to Masaba Gupta's show. While Shahid played it safe in all-black, Mira pumped up the funk in a black off-shoulder top and a pair of horse print pants from Masaba's new collection. Full marks to Mira for keeping it fun.
Too bad, Masaba's showstopper wasn't as interesting. New kid on the block, Sooraj Pancholi was way too thanda for our liking. We gulped down 2 hot coffees to get back in the groove.
The caffeine high was short-lived as Shriya Saran walked in, looking straight out of Chameli. Designer shades had to be pulled out to tackle this bling and tack attack!!
Finally, a sight for sore eyes. Arjun and Mehr Rampal made a high-fashion couple statement at the fashion week. Oh my God! Such a stunning twosome!! They really don't need designer somethings to make the shutterbugs go click-happy.
How can any fashion week be complete without the stylish Shraddha Kapoor? The Kapoor girl showed she knows her fashion as she worked this white sequinned jumpsuit for Namrata Joshipura. Very chic!
Guess who else left us impressed. Nimrat Kaur! She dazzled in her red-and-gold Payal Singhal outfit. Totally digging the look!
Akshay Kumar's Singh Is Bliing co-star Amy Jackson rocked the ramp in a pastel pink lehenga. She teamed it up with a blouse that made bold look demure.
