Known to dress up Bollywood beauties for their movies and for their special occasions in life, designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee has been one designer on the list of every girl who wants to look perfect on her wedding day. Paying a tribute to his work is one show on the TV platform, which has him dressing up real life brides. Titled as Band Baajaa Bride, the show will be aired on lifestyle channel from today onwards and the first bride to showcase on the show is ace wrestler Babita Phogat.
The first look promo has voice over of the designer, praising the athlete and reasoning why she deserves the best. The wrestler is seen gracing Sabysachi’s studio to try out lehenga followed by being elated after trying her wedding outfit. Wished to be dressed like Priyanka Chopra on her wedding day in a red lehenga, the designer fulfills her wish, leading to create innumerable memories to cherish for years to come. The promo also has her parents in conversation with the designer.

Sabyasachi just launched his collection for plus size to be brides, allowing them to flaunt their curves on their D-day. The collection has some unconventional colour and patterns, making the bride and bridesmaid look perfect while they enjoy the wedding.
Isha Ambani Piramal whose go to designer is also Sabyasachi Mukherjee sported a vintage lehenge with blouse having peter pan like collar, making her the town of the talk for her classy and vintage look.
