OMG! DID YOU KNOW Sabyasachi Mukherjee Is Obsessed With Boobs? Fashion Designer Once Said He Was Tired Of 'Stick-Thin Models’!
Indian fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee needs no introduction. He is regarded as one of the most sought-after fashion designers in Bollywood and indeed a favourite of our Bollywood celebs. Be it Kareena Kapoor Khan, Anushka Sharma, Deepika Padukone, or B-town hunks, he is the first choice of stars when it comes to sartorial choices. Apart from his brilliant attires and modern Indian bridal fashion, Sabyasachi often makes headlines for embroiling in controversies. Amongst them was when the designer made an offensive comment on models and confessed to being "obsessed with boobs."

Back in 2018, in an interview with Architectural Digest, Sabyasachi said, “In fashion, you have to reinvent yourself every three to five years. You need to be fresh. Right now, I’ve become tired of gaunt faces and stick-thin models. I’m obsessed by boobs!” ALSO READ: Sabyasachi Trolled For Ad Featuring ‘Unhappy Models’, Netizens say ‘Conjuring In One Frame’

To note, Sabyasachi Mukherjee- who does not mince his words, has stirred up controversies many times. Once he came under the radar of netizens over his ‘infamous saree’ speech at Harvard University in Cambridge. The ace designer shamed all the women who didn’t know how to drape a saree by saying that it’s a part of the culture, and that not knowing how to tie a saree is “a relationship of misunderstanding.” Mukherjee was quoted saying, “I think, if you tell me that you do not know how to wear a saree, I would say shame on you. It’s a part of your culture, you need to stand up for it.”

Meanwhile, Sabyasachi Mukherjee ventured into Bollywood by designing costumes for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film Black. His outstanding creation in the film earned him the National Award for the best costume designer. Notably, he had also designed Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli’s bridal outfits. Even Deepika wore a red lehenga designed by Sabyasachi at her wedding.
