Priyanka Chopra Should Have Chosen Yellow Over Peachy-Pink For Her Sabyasachi Saree?
Priyanka Chopra is known to the unexpected. The gorgeous actress, who celebrates her birthday today, stunned everyone as she turned up in a beautifully embroidered Sabyasachi saree at brother-in-law, Joe Jonas’ wedding with Sophie Turner. She looked absolutely captivating.  While we were still getting over her aura in that peachy-pink drape, guess what, the same saree is also available in bright yellow too.

I happen to surf Sabyasachi’s Instagram page, and pop came up a picture of a model donning the same saree Priyanka wore, but in yellow. The instant thought I had in my mind was- why didn’t PeeCee select the yellow colour instead?

The floral self-thread embroidery looks richer on the colour, definitely. But then, when I picturised Priyanka draped in yellow, I felt the desi girl chose it rightly- Peach surely agrees more with her than yellow. But kudos to the designer for making it in the shade of yellow too. Hope to see some other Bollywood diva, maybe Kareena Kapoor Khan or Deepika Padukone in it soon.

Although, I feel Priyanka should have opted for the style of the blouse like the model is wearing above. It’s sleeker and would have made her shoulders look a bit leaner as compared to the broad sleeveless style she chose. Another change I would have liked in PeeCee’s otherwise perfect look would have been the way her saree was draped. Yes, the actress is a pro at wearing and carrying sarees, but I felt, this time round it should have been a bit neater and crisper.

Coming to Priyanka’s saree colour selection, I give full points to the actress for picking up a more suitable colour for her skin tone.
