RED CARPET WAR: Deepika Or Priyanka-Who Looked HOTTER At The Golden Globe Awards 2017?
Constantly racing to make a mark in Hollywood, Priyanka and Deepika might not say it in words that this is war. But trust us, deep down it’s no less than a war to outdo each other at such renowned international platforms...
Countless sleepless nights, hours and hours of hard work, a huge team working round the clock just to put up a flawless red carpet look. Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone just experienced this as they attended the Golden Globe Awards 2017.
I was surprised to know that Priyanka has been criticized by few international websites for her Ralph Lauren ensemble. But when I read further, all of them mentioned that Priyanka’s look definitely does not deserve criticism, but the only complaint they had was the arrangement of the sequins on her dress. I shall give my opinion soon.
Coming to Deepika Padukone- the sexy long-legged lass, who is currently on a promotion spree for her upcoming Hollywood debut film- xXx: The Return Of Xander Cage, also wore a Ralph Lauren creation- a bright sunshine yellow one-sided satin gown with a shoulder extension.

At first glance, to me both- Deepika and Priyanka look pleasant. Irrespective of what the international websites feel about PeeCee, I think she totally nailed the look. She looks extremely hot and every bit sensuous. Love the combination of gold and deep maroon lips.
If I tell u to pair diamonds with shimmery gold, you would tell me that it’s a bad idea. But look at Priyanka, how she manages to blend diamonds with her dramatic dress. A plunging neck line definitely helped, but just the necklace itself is a beauty!
Deepika Padukone on the other hand chose a safer bet. A solid colour, a routine texture, and the most cliché cut. There isn’t anything horribly wrong with her gown, but when I compare it to the risks Priyanka took with hers, it falls flat.
However, Deepika’s safest bet faltered in two very basic requirements of a red carpet. First, the ironing of the lower part of her gown was completely off. Second, her gown was almost identical to the one Hollywood actress Viola Davis wore at the same event. You don’t do such grave mistakes on the red carpet, Deepika!

Talking about the positives- Deepika's hair-do was pretty and the make-up was up to the mark.
Not just in her look, Priyanka scores higher than Deepika in her Insta video as where celebs had to pose candidly in an elevator. While Deepika just poses like a mannequin, Priyanka has so much more fun to offer!
To conclude, my vote goes to Priyanka Chopra. But for those who feel Deepika looked better, do leave your comments below and tell me why!
