Sonam closes Cannes in style
Sonam Kapoor took Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s place at the amfAR Gala last night and came out looking like a mix between an Indian princess and a Hollywood diva. I mean that in a good way. Swear.

Sonam stuck to Ralph & Russo who gave her a custom lavender
gown with intricate work on it. Sonam’s really into trains (not the locomotive
type) and this gown too sported one. Cue the roti jokes again, I guess. While
the gown is gorgeous, I’m not onboard with the one-sleeved look. It seems a
little confused.

She accessorised with jhumkas from Kalyan Jewellers and put
her hair in a messy (but not too messy. Hello, it’s Cannes after all) braid. She
tied it all together with gold thread. I love her hair. I’m a major sucker for
braids so this gets my vote.
