STUNNER OR BUMMER: Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranaut, Ranveer Singh, Kriti Sanon Or Richa Chadha?
Here are the stars who were spotted in the city yesterday flaunting their stylish side and a few turning up as bummers. Time to check the vogue quotient
Priyanka Chopra’s stint at TIFF is turning out to be a
treat for fashion watchers. The crossover star truly pushed the envelope with
her latest appearance in neon pink Fendi separates. The double breasted jacket
and pleated skirt blew our mind at first look. But then we noticed that the fit
of the jacket is off and the heavy handed make-up competes for attention with
an already loud outfit. The silver lining- those studded booties are to die for
and give this look an edgy twist!

Here is another great outfit ruined by a lack of
attention to detail. Kangana Ranaut is running around town promoting Simran and
this look is easy, breezy and beautiful. But take a closer look and you will
see the crumpled tee poking out of the fasteners on the skirt. This look would
have been a great example of ‘casual chic’ but alas.

Now, let’s take a look at an ensemble which stumped us.
We are fans of Ranveer Singh’s outlandish outfits and he knows how to pull off
a suit. But this blue one did not impress us. The creased fit, the printed tie
battling for attention with the over-the-top pocket and THAT hair, we are not
fans of this look.

After Ranveer’s over-accessorised look, here is a palate
cleanser for your eyes. Kriti Sanon chose this beautiful monochrome outfit. The
ruffled white top is origami-esque not frilly, and the tailored pants and black
heels complete this outfit. What’s not to love!

And here is another example of ‘too much’. Richa Chadha
wore this Falguni & Shane Peacock creation to attend a fashion launch. The
feathered and sequinned cocktail number looks dated and the styling-topknot,
matching lipstick and golden heels- did nothing to save this ensemble.
