Vijay Deverakonda Wears 45 Thousand Worth Slippers For His Meet With Karan Johar; As Good As A Return Ticket To Bangkok
Vijay Deverakonda is on cloud nine. His films are a hit and his fan following is just increasing by each passing day. He now wants to conquer Bollywood too! Though nothing has been finalized yet, Vijay recently met Karan Johar and Manish Malhotra when in Mumbai. The star was in the city for a brand shoot with Kiara Advani and in the evening, he met the stalwarts of Bollywood. This meeting did raise a lot of eyebrows but what fashion police noticed was the fancy slippers that he was sporting.

For his meeting with Karan, Manish and Kiara, Vijay stepped out in simple attire. Navy blue shirt and dark pants, Vijay looked classy even in the simplest attire. He ditched shoes and was seen walking in slippers instead. But boy, these slippers are not the local ones and are costly AF! He was wearing slippers by Gucci which are worth Rs 45 thousand. Yup! No kidding…We can buy our entire year’s footwear in 45k, no? Or better a return ticket Bangkok. But he is Vijay Deverakonda, he can afford it and flaunt it too! Adding more to the list, even Swara Bhasker's slippers are the talk of the town. Recently, the actress visited the Lalbaghcha Raja in Mumbai to seek blessings from Bappa, however, Swara ended up losing her expensive Kolhapuri juttis. The video of the same was later shared by Bhasker on her Instagram story.

Meanwhile, shedding some light on his Bollywood debut, he quoted to Bollywood Hungama that it will happen when it has to happen. “Yes Iam going to Mumbai. When it (Bollywood launch) happens it will happen. I am not holding my breath for it. Of course, I would love to have the pan-India audience that Bollywood provides. But I am equally happy with my work and audience in Telugu cinema. There’s no desire to see Bollywood as a progression in my career. It can only be an extension, not a progression,” he said.
