1. Elvis Presley

Fans refused to believe that Elvis Presley gave up on life on the evening of August 16, 1977. He was found unresponsive on his bathroom floor.

Conspiracies and theories about whether Elvis really died that day were a rage for more than three decades, with someone or the other spotting Elvis alive even till the 90s.

2. Kurt Cobain

At just 27, Nirvana front man 
Kurt Cobain's death revealed the deeper, darker, side of showbiz. 

It was alleged that Kurt shot himself sometime between April 4-5 1994.  

The death not only became a pop culture event but also one of the most spoken about court cases, leading to theories like the role of his then wife, Courtney Love.

3. Michael Jackson

One of the most successful musicians of all time, Michael Jackson passed away on June 25, 2009.

Jackson’s death was shrouded in controversy when coroners ruled the death as a homicide and tried his doctor, Conrad Murray, of involuntary manslaughter.

Michael Jackson’s death is ranked No. 1 on VH1/VH1 Classic's list of 100 Most Shocking Moments in Music.

The actual controversy started a day after Michael’s death, when LAPD raised concerns about the incidents after Michael’s death hampering investigations.

4. Marilyn Monroe

Marilyn Monroe, arguably the most beautiful woman in the world, was found dead in her bedroom on August 5, 1952.

The official reason was considered to be suicide but there were several versions  including one that said the then US Senator Robert Kennedy was the mastermind behind her murder.

Some even pointed at the mob boss Jimmy Hoffa sanctioning the kill.

5. Bruce Lee

For many people, Bruce Lee died because of a medical issue on May 10, 1976. But for conspiracy theorists, he died either at the hands of the Triads basically organised crime, or because of a family curse.

The family curse theory once again became famous when his son, Brandon Lee, died under controversial circumstances while shooting for The Crow.
