Reality TV star Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from rapper Kanye West about two months ago, after six years of being married to each other. Rumours of their separation and divorce had been around for quite some time, and it was later confirmed in February. E! News reported that Kim cited ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason for the divorce. Now, if a report is to be believed, Kim and Kanye aren’t that close anymore, and only talk about their 4 kids, and business.
According to a report in HollywoodLife, Kim and Kanye haven’t been talking ‘often’ since the reality star filed for divorce. When they do talk, it’s about their kids. The former couple has four kids together- Psalm, Saint, Chicago, and North West. Their divorce documents reportedly reveal that Kim and Kanye wish to have joint custody of their kids. A source informed the tabloid that Kim and Kanye have drifted apart in terms of communication. “They have had periods recently where they stopped and started again, but Kim will always take his calls. They’re not that close anymore which is really hard on both of them, especially Kim, said the source.
The source also informed HollywoodLife that when they do talk, it’s about their kids or just business stuff. Kanye however connects over video call when he wants to talk to his kids.
According to the report, the kids have been spending most time with Kim in California, while Kanye has been in Wyoming. Even so, looks like they have been able to co-parent really well so far. The report adds that Kim sometimes takes the kids to Wyoming, while Kanye sometimes comes to California, and stays with friends.
