Avengers: Infinity War released in 2018 and went on to break all records. The film was a phenomenal success at the box office and it dethroned Avatar to become the highest-grossing movie of all time. While it has been months now, the hype has not ended and just recently deleted scenes from the film were also released. Now, a lot of people were hoping for a rematch between Hulk and Thanos, where the green monster would be able to get his revenge, but that wasn’t the case in the film.
Now, the makers of the film had a lot that they had to squeeze in the film’s 3-hour runtime. Many of the scenes clearly didn’t make it, not the way comic book fans would have expected it to. Avengers: Endgame- The Art of the Movie shows several scenes that didn’t make it to the cutting room floor, one of which is the epic rematch between Hulk and Thanos. The new artbook of the movie now shows the fight between Hulk and Thanos that could have been a part of the film. This keyframe in the artbook shows the Hulk delivering a punch to Thanos and he’s getting his revenge. While this scene didn’t make it to the film, fans would’ve surely loved seeing the angry avatar of Hulk! At Tokyo Comic-Con, Mark Ruffalo ala The Hulk said that Kevin Feige asked him last week if he had any more ideas or stories for the Hulk. Comicbook.com quoted Mark saying, “And I said yeah, I think there are still some stories to tell. And he said, ‘Well why don’t you come in and tell me about them and we’ll see if we can find a place for you in the Marvel universe?’”
