Beyonce Knowles is the Fashion Icon ’16 at the CFDA Fashion Awards ceremony held in New York City.
The glittering evening got extra sparkle when Queen Bey dropped in with husband Jay Z and daughter Blue Ivy. Mommy Tina Knowles was in attendance too.
Beyonce wore a sparkly striped black Givenchy suit and finished off the look with a unique, wide-brimmed hat that only she can carry off
The suit could be a tribute to the late Michael Jackson, who had worn a similar pant-suit for one of his performances.
At the event, the singer gave an emotional acceptance speech where she spoke about her mother’s role in her career and success.
