Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello’s breakup came as a massive shock to the fans. However, following their split, the former couple went on a shopping outing in Los Angeles. The 24-year-old singer was seen on Melrose Avenue, however, she did not look particularly happy about her and Shawn’s recent setback.

Their recent outing comes days after she and Shawn, 23, announced their breakup in a joint post on Instagram on November 17.



The pair stated they've decided to stop their romantic engagement after a two-year romance and a lengthy friendship, but that their "love for one another" remains strong.

"We've decided to stop our romantic relationship," she continued, "but our love for one another as humans is greater than ever. We started our relationship as best friends, and we'll keep it that way. We have been grateful for your support from the beginning and will continue to do so in the future."


The ‘Senorita‘ singer recently broke silence on her Split With Shawn Mendes.

Speaking to PEOPLE, Camila Cabello said, “Before the pandemic, I felt really burnt out. I had been working pretty nonstop since I was 15. And the rigour with which I started working, there was just no time off,” after her split with Shawn Mendes. “I was barely home. I didn’t have time to get to know who I was outside of my career. Pile that onto struggles with mental health, with anxiety, with these toxic levels of stress, it wasn’t even a meltdown because I would just work through it,” she added. 



The divorce might be attributable to the stars heading in ‘separate paths,’ according to a source "Things are different today” It's getting back to normal. They each have separate occupations that lead them in various directions. They moved from spending every day together to barely seeing one other today," as quoted by the Meaww report.
