Singers and lovers Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello bagged the award for Collaboration of the Year for Señorita at American Music Awards
During American Music Awards, Señorita singers Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello were the only names that social media was talking about. After giving a sensuous performance, it got people swooning over them and how! No matter how hot they were looking during their performance on the stage, it was rather looked cold off stage. Well, we all know Shawn and Camila bagged the award for Collaboration of the Year for Señorita at American Music Awards. So when the duo’s name was announced, Shawn and Camila got up to receive their award but something weird happened between the two, knowing how they were all over each other.
Usually, when the winners' name is announced, people hug or kiss each other but apparently Camila was snubbed by her boyfriend, the moment she leaned in a bit to kiss Shawn before receiving the award. That’s not about it, during their acceptance speech, Camila was over the moon to receive the award while Mendes looked tamed and his reaction after winning was pretty normal as compared to his babe. Judging by his facial expression, Mendes looked a bit pissed. We might be reading way too much between the lines, so see it for yourself. It certainly did look a bit awkward.
Katherine Langford and Jamie Lee Curtis have presented the award for Collaboration of the Year to Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello for their song Senorita at AMA 2019. The duo was competing with Lady Gaga – Bradley Cooper for Shallow, Lis Nas X Ft. Billy Ray Cyrus for Old Town Road, Marshmellow and Bastille for Happier, Post Malone & Swae Lee for Sunflower.
Shawn and Camila are also been nominated at Grammy Awards 2019 for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for again Señorita. The 62nd Grammy Awards will take place on January 26, 2020.
