American pop star Demi Lovato has been on a journey of self-understanding and discovery for some time now. Recently, the singer has come to another new realisation about their self. Demi Lovato has come out as non-binary in the latest social media post. They posted a video featuring them. The Sorry Not Sorry singer said they will officially be changing pronouns to ‘they/them’ moving forward, in the revelation video. On Wednesday, Demi Lovato said that they decided after “a lot of healing and self-reflective work".

The 28-year-old singer shared the news via Twitter and Instagram. Demi shared the video and wrote, “Every day we wake up, we are given another opportunity and chance to be who we want and wish to be. I’ve spent the majority of my life growing in front of all of you… you’ve seen the good, the bad, and everything in between. Not only has my life been a journey for myself, but I was also living for those on the other side of the cameras." They added, “Today is a day I'm so happy to share more of my life with you all - I am proud to let you know that I identify as non-binary & will officially be changing my pronouns to they/them moving forward.” Demi continued, "I’m still learning & coming into myself, & I don’t claim to be an expert or a spokesperson. Sharing this with you now opens another level of vulnerability for me. I’m doing this for those out there that haven’t been able to share who they truly are with their loved ones. Please keep living in your truths."

Meanwhile, the Camp Rock actor announced the decision in a video, while launching the new podcast, 4D with Demi Lovato. After the major revelation, Lovato received lots of love and support on Instagram and Twitter. Many dropped ‘proud of you’ and ‘so proud’ comments with red heart emojis, extending support to the singer’s big decision.
